How do I register with DSA Yrkesdosregistret?

You should log in to yrkesdoseregisteret.dsa.no to register your organization and choose LANDAUER as dosimetry supplier.

How do I get the Department ID?

Once you’ve registered with Yrkesdosregistret, you will get a Department ID for each subdivision.

What combinations of Use of radiation and Occupation are accepted by DSA?

Which occupation of the employee do I choose in Landauer Direct if the employee had different occupations since 2021?

Please enter the current occupation. It is not possible to change this once it’s uploaded into Yrkesdosregistret.

How do we handle foreign social security number?

Foreign social security numbers cannot be used for reporting. If a person does not have Norwegian national ID number, they can request a D-number.

If neither is available, it is not possible for you to report for them. Please contact DSA if they need further guidance.

How often will Landauer register new doses into Yrkesdoseregistret?

We will upload doses by the end of each Month. Dosimeters that are sent in later than the first batch will be read and reported the next Month.

The admin contact registered on Yrkesdosregistret will receive a notification from DSA for each upload.

How do I see my dose in Yrkesdosregistret?

You can login with your Bank-ID at ID-porten to access the dose or contact your administrator who have access to the entire account.

Will LANDAUER modify doses that are not correct?

No, LANDAUER will upload the read dose. If the dose is not correct due to leaving your dosimeter in checked in luggage or leaving it close to a source by accident, as unwanted incidents that must be reported to DSA. You can contact them at dsa@dsa.no.

Do we have to inform Yrkesdosregistret if an Employee receives a dose that is over the regulatory limit?

Yes, it’s a requirement from DSA to inform them directly in case of this events. You can contact them at dsa@dsa.no.

I want to carry out a study with two dosimeters per participant, wearing one dosimeter underneath the lead apron and the other above. How do we do this?

Please use visitor dosimeter for the dosimeter underneath the lead apron and a personal dosimeter for the dosimeter above the lead apron.

Only the personal dosimeters dose will be reported to Yrkesdosregistret.

How do I know if a worker is classified?

Regarding classification of exposed workers, this is described in the Radiation Protection Regulation:

Section 31 Categorization of exposed workers

The undertaking shall ensure classification of exposed workers in two categories:

  1. Category A : exposed worker who might be exposed to:
    1. an effective dose above 6 mSv/year
    2. an equivalent dose above 150 mSv/year to the skin and extremities, or
    3. an equivalent dose above 15 mSv/year to the lens of the eye
  2. Category B: exposed workers not classified as category A.

The undertaking shall classify each worker in category A or B before work involving exposure starts. In the categorization, potential exposure shall be taken into account.
